How to use it
- Add your PNGs.
- Pick a background color and a page size.
- Create the PDF.
What PNG to PDF does
Decodes each PNG and stores its pixels in the PDF with lossless compression, so screenshots and text stay sharp. Transparent areas are filled with the background color you choose.
When to use it
- Combining screenshots into one document for a report or support ticket.
- Turning diagrams or charts into a printable PDF.
- Sending several graphics as a single attachment.
Good to know
- Lossless: no pixels change, but the PNG file itself isn’t copied byte for byte.
- PDF pages made here don’t keep transparency. Transparent areas are filled with your background color (white by default).
- Page size: match each image (no borders), or A4 or Letter with the image fitted.
File size: screenshots vs photos
Lossless storage keeps text crisp and works well for screenshots, which have large flat areas. Photo-like PNGs make large PDF pages, because every pixel is kept. If a PNG is really a photo, converting it with PNG to JPG and then using JPG to PDF gives a much smaller PDF.
Choosing a background for transparent PNGs
White suits documents and printing. For a logo with white parts, pick a light grey or a brand color so the shape stays visible. If you need the transparency itself, keep the PNG; pages made here are always flat.

Frequently asked questions
Will text in screenshots stay sharp?
Yes. Pixels are stored losslessly, so text looks the same as in the PNG. It isn’t selectable text, though; each page is an image.
Why is my PDF large?
Large or photo-like PNGs make large pages. Resize the screenshots, or convert photos to JPG first.
Can I combine several PNGs into one PDF?
Yes. Add multiple PNGs, arrange their order, and each becomes a page.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in your browser, and your images never leave your device.
