What PDF to JPG does
Renders each page with the same engine Firefox uses to show PDFs, then saves it as a JPG. Rotations you set in the grid are applied.
When to use it
- A website or form wants an image, not a PDF.
- Sharing a page on social media or in a chat app.
- Using a page as a slide or thumbnail.
Good to know
- 150 DPI is a good default for screens. 300 DPI is for printing and makes much larger files.
- JPG suits scans and photos. For text and diagrams with sharp edges, PDF to PNG looks crisper.
- Transparent areas become white.
Privacy
Your PDFs are opened and rebuilt inside your browser. They are never uploaded, which matters for contracts, IDs, bank statements and medical records. Closing the page clears everything.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Pages are rendered on your device.
How do I get only one page?
Download the files one by one from the result, or use Split PDF first to keep only that page.
Which resolution should I choose?
150 DPI suits screens and sharing. Choose 300 DPI for printing, or 72 DPI for small previews.
How are the files named?
Each image is named after the PDF with its page number, such as report-page-1.jpg. Several pages download together as a ZIP.
